1991年9月郑州大学化学分析化学专业硕士毕业；1997年9月南开大学环境科学系环境化学专业博士毕业；1999年9月中山大学化学系分析化学专业博士后出站后到华南理工大学工作。

感兴趣的研究方向：纳米材料合成及其在生物电分析化学中的应用研究；电分析化学理论及新方法研究；分析仪器的研制。

承担国家自然科学基金项目3项；广东省自然科学基金项目1项；广东省科技计划项目1项；其它的科研项目多项。
