政治学与行政学系简介

政治学与行政学系设政治学与行政学本科专业，并在政治学一级学科硕士授权点下设政治学理论、中外政治制度两个二级学科硕士点。目前全系计有教授3人（其中博士生导师2人），副教授2人，全体教师中具有博士学位者占90%以上。近五年来，政治学与行政学系教师出版和发表各类学术论著100多篇（部），并承担省部级及“985”重大科研项目4项。共有5项科研成果获省部级哲学社会科学优秀成果奖。

政治学与行政学专业是教育部设定核准的本科教育专业。该专业理论知识领域宽广，学术内涵丰富深厚，同时又具有很强的实践性和应用性。本专业所开设的30余门课程，涵括了政治学理论、政治制度、公共政策、电子政务和办公自动化、公务员工作的理论与实践等各个层面的理论知识，以及相关的实践工作技能。政治学与行政学专业属宽口径本科专业，主要为党政机关、社会团体及各类企事业单位培养从事政务活动、行政管理、办公室工作，以及理论宣传和政治学教学科研工作的专门人才。从中国社会主义现代化和干部队伍专业化建设发展趋势评估, 国家和社会各领域对政治学与行政学专门人才的需求将持续增加。

Introduction to Political Science and Public Administration Department

Department of Political Science and Public Administration has set up Political Science and Public Administration undergraduate programme successively. The department offers Master degree of Political Science in two second-level disciplines: Political Theory, Chinese and Foreign Political Systems. There are 3 professors (2 of them are supervisors of Ph.D. students), 2 associate professors in the department. Over 90 percent of the department faculties have obtained their Ph.D. degrees. In recent 5 years, The faculties have published more than 100 academic articles or books, take 4 provincial and “985 Project” research projects and have got 5 provincial awards of outstanding academic productions in social science.

The programme of Political Science and Public Administration is authorized by the Ministry of Education. More than 20 courses offered by the department cover political theory, political system, public policy, e-administration and the techniques of OA (Office Automation) in administration. The programme provides multiple choices for the students. It mainly cultivates special talented persons to engage in administration affairs, public administration and publicization for party and government bodies, social organizations and kinds of enterprises and pubic service units. Judging from the developing trend of the socialist modernization and the specialization of cadres, the demands for the specialists in political science and public administration will keep rising.
